BTW: There's a new Tex Murphy game coming out extremely soon called "Tesla Effect", so my statement that there's only "five" games in the series is going to be incorrect in a few days. Oh well. :B
There's actually a bit of an exploit with the hint system in that, you can just save your game, get the hint you need, then reload your save. Suffice to say, this doesn't help when you accidentally press the hint button and haven't saved for over 10 minutes. :P
I noticed after rendering this week's episode that the footage wasn't nearly as bad as actually playing the game in DOSBox, then I noticed my video drivers had seemed to forget about my special DOSBox settings, since you want to disable vsyncing when running DOSBox. However, after making this change it still didn't make the game play any better in terms of framerate consistency. :/
At the end of the video I meant to say that this game is the first in the series to have full motion video. I've been told the prior Tex Murphy games do indeed have voice acting. :P
